Star forward Ratanbala Devi helped Kryphsa FC maintain their perfect winning run in the Indian Women's League (IWL) 2020 in Bengaluru on Wednesday as she scored the only goal in the 1-0 win over FC Kolhapur City. With the win, Krypsha wrapped up their Group A engagement with a clean slate.

The Manipuri team dominated the proceedings, enjoying long phases of possession. They created quite a few chances in the initial stages and were rewarded for their efforts as early as in the 19th minute. Ratanbala exquisitely controlled a cross-field delivery, chested it down with her first touch and finished it clinically past keeper Shreya Hooda.

Kolhapur City tried to get back in the game with counter attacks and, on a couple of occasions, they created golden opportunities to level the game. However, it was their forwards who let them down with wayward efforts.

Towards the dying minutes, Ratanbala had another opportunity when she dribbled past her marker and got some free space to shoot but it wasn't to be. Hooda, who had been the star performer for Kolhapur on the day, made yet another superb save to deny the Manipuri forward from doubling her tally.

With the result, Kryphsa, though, are going strength from strength and continue to remain the only side in the competition to have not conceded a single goal. They have emerged as potential challengers to Sethu FC's title defence.

Earlier, in first match of the day, Kickstart FC thrashed BBK Dav in their final group fixture. A double from Kavya P (41', 90') and one goal apiece from Mona (39') and Renu (83') saw them register a comprehensive 4-0 win.
