FC Goa made it two in two as they drubbed two-time Indian Super League (ISL) champions Chennaiyin FC 3-0 in a pre-season friendly game on Sunday in Goa. In their first pre-season game last week, Goa beat Hyderabad 3-2 in a more highly contested affair.

New signing Igor Angulo, Princeton Rebello and Sanson Pereira were on target on Sunday for the Gaurs as Juan Ferrando's men dominated largely.

Goa, who started with five foreigners, played a 4-2-3-1 formation. New recruitments Jorge Ortiz Mendoza, Alberto Noguera started alongside Angulo and Len Doungel in the attacking third. Princeton and club captain Edu Bedia played in central midfield, acting as a screen in front of the defence line which was made up of Seriton Fernandes, Ivan Gonzalez,

Aibanbha Dohling, and Sanson Pereira. Md. Nawaz started between the sticks.

For Chennaiyin FC, the good news was that head coach Csaba Lsazlo was back on the field, after having finally come out of quarantine this weekend. He fielded a strong XI with Eli Sabia and Memo Moura at the heart of defence. Germanpreet Singh, Anirudh Thapa, and Lallianzuala Chhangte were all part of the line-up that took the field at kick-off.
