With the possibility of losing coach Albert Roca to Spanish football giants FC Barcelona looming large, Hyderabad have started to wrap up their foreign transfers quickly. It is understood that Australian winger Joel Chianese has put pen to paper and an announcement can be expected in the next fortnight.

The team is undergoing a complete transformation after finishing last in their debut season in the ISL. They have been looking at foreign signings for a while now. Victor comes with bags of experience having played in multiple countries including Spain, Uzbekistan and Cyprus. He has also featured in the UEFA Europa League as well as the AFC Champions League.

“I am very happy to have signed for Hyderabad FC. It’s an exciting project and a good challenge for me given the composition of the team. We have a nice mix of experienced and young Indian players in the squad, and I hope that my experience helps the team on the field. I am eager to join up with my teammates soon and get back into action,” Victor said after signing.
