The Indian Super League (ISL) has returned to action after the final international break of the calendar year. And the teams wasted no time in finding the back of the net and so, match week nine was packed with goals.
In what could be called a goal fest, 21 goals were scored across six games, the most memorable one being Odisha FC's 6-0 rout of Hyderabad FC.
Kerala Blasters earned bragging rights with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Chennaiyin FC, while Bengaluru FC remained on top thanks to a late come from behind victory against Mohammedan SC.
Here are the top goals from match week nine of the ISL.
#5: Lobi Manzoki, Mohammedan SC
Mohammedan SC have been very brave in their maiden season of the ISL but their deficiencies and lack of ability to hold on to games is costing them dear.
After taking the lead in the 8th minute, they let the game slip from their hands, with Bengaluru scoring in the 81st minute and in the 98th minute respectively.
Their opening goal, however, was a thing of beauty from Lobi Manzoki.
The striker found himself in the right spot from a corner and unleashed a bullet header into the back of the net, giving his side the lead.

#4: Pulga Vidal, Punjab FC
Punjab FC played twice this match week.
The week with a defeat against NorthEast United but they traveled to Mumbai and put up a brilliant show, winning 3-0 against the ISL Cup holders.
Punjab's main man, Pulga Vidal, who is having an excellent season with the Shers, was instrumental in their victory yet again.
He opened the scoring for Punjab with a sublime strike with his left foot from the edge of the box, and after being slightly deflected, the ball found its way into the net.

#3: Tom Aldred, Mohun Bagan
Fans love watching defenders score and the feeling compounds when the defender produces a thunderous volley, akin to a striker's finish.
That's exactly what MBSG's Tom Aldred did during Mohun Bagan's 3-0 win over Jamshedpur FC.
The centre back picked up a loose ball, and with a crisply struck volley to the roof of the net, Mohun Bagan had the lead.
Talk about opening your ISL tally in style!

#2: Liston Colaco, Mohun Bagan
If Aldred's goal set the bar high, Liston elevated it further with a superb solo goal, doubling the Highlander's lead against Jamshedpur.
Receiving the ball in the right half-space, the 26-year-old winger weaved past not a couple but five defenders, and rounded the goal keeper before putting the ball into the back of the net.
It was a goal that made everyone stand up and applaud the sheer brilliance of the on display from the Indian.

#1: Nestor Albiach, NorthEast United
The match week opened with NorthEast United's 2-1 win over Punjab away from home.
But what caught everyone's attention was Nestor's moment of madness, scoring a ridiculous volley to double his side's lead.
The ball was out wide to Ajaraie, who put in a high ball, and Nestor, who was on the end of it, using his left foot, couldn't have hit that volley any better.
It is not just a goal of the season contender, but could well go down as one of the best goals ever scored in the ISL.
And without a shadow of a doubt, Albiach's effort is our pick for the best goal of the week.

If the week gone by is any precedence, match week ten could well dish out plenty of jaw-dropping goals.
