2025 is upon us. So is the second half of the 2024-25 season of the Indian Super League (ISL).

The leaders and ISL Shield holders Mohun Bagan SG started the week with a clinical 3-0 win over Hyderabad FC. FC Goa also continued its fine run of form, thanks once again to the brilliance of Brison Fernandez.

Jamshedpur FC were up against Bengaluru FC and it took two stunning goals from JFC late in the game to seal victory over Bengaluru.

In a matchweek that saw 18 goals scored across six games, here are our picks for the best goals of matchweek 15.

#5: Jerry, Odisha FC

Odisha FC has had a placid ISL season so far, sitting in 11th in the standings, and they could not stop the FC Goa, which ran rampant at the Kalinga Stadium, inflicting a 4-2 defeat on the home side.

Towards the end of the game, Jerry scored a wonderful goal from a deep cross, diving headfirst and placing it to perfection.

It was a very brave attempt, and one that he reaped the rewards for on a personal note, albeit not doing much for the final result.

#4: Jason Cummings, Mohun Bagan SG

Mohun Bagan looked polished and professional in their 3-0 win over Hyderabad FC, kickstarting 2025 with yet another three points.

The third goal was once again, a piece of individual brilliance from their striker Jason Cummings, who since returning from injury has set the stage on fire with his scintillating strikes.

Latching on to a low cross from the left on the edge of the box, Cummings' left-footed shot had but on destination - back of the net - and it went there despite the best efforts of the diving HFC keeper.

#3: Nikos Karelis, Mumbai City FC

The match between Mumbai City FC and East Bengal FC was a roller coaster ride. It ended on a happy note for the reigning ISL Cup winners.

Having taken a 2-0 lead, MCFC looked fairly comfortable but Oscar Burzon's East Bengal stormed back into the game, scoring two and levelling things up.

In the 87th minute, however, East Bengal committed a huge mistake, with their backline failing to clear the ball away. It meant Karelis was through on goal and with the goalkeeper rushing out, Karelis sublimely chipped the ball over the keeper, scoring what would be the winning goal.

In a game of such high intensity, a moment of magic from Karelis proved to be the difference. Watch the goal here:

#2: Muhammad Uvais, Jamshedpur FC

The game between Jamshedpur FC and Bengaluru FC was no less dramatic.

Bengaluru FC took command of the match heading into the final 10 minutes of the match, riding on a 1-0 lead but then came the twin-strike from Jamshedpur FC.

After an acrobatic equaliser from Jordan Murray, in the 90th minute, Bengaluru FC's goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu was not in the line, and Jamshedpur's left-back Muhammad Uvais took the ball on the full and his volley found the back of the net, sending the players and fans into a frenzy.

Watch his strike here:

#1: Brison Fernandes, FC Goa

Brison's brilliant run of form continued into 2025, with the winger on a strong goal-scoring spree. He scored a brace in FC Goa's 4-2 win over Odisha FC.

Cutting in from the left, Brison found space and curled the ball into the top corner, leaving everyone stunned.

It is our pick for the goal of the matchweek. Watch it here:
