ISL: Ajaraie's curler and other top goals from Matchweek 6
NorthEast United's Alaeddine Ajaraie's unstoppable form continues in the ISL, and he dazzled yet another brilliant goal.

Matchweek 6 of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 has come and gone, and the league table has taken a significant shape.
Chennaiyin FC continued their winless streak at home with an entertaining 2-2 draw against FC Goa, but NorthEast United ran riot against Jamshedpur FC, winning 5-0.
Kerala Blasters were defeated at home in the Southern Derby by table toppers Bengaluru FC and Mohammedan Sporting were in for a rude awakening against Hyderabad FC, who put four past them and registered their first win of the season.
We at The Bridge have collected the goals of the Matchweek 6, in what has been a week full of high-scoring games.
5: Karelis, Mumbai City FC
Mumbai City, the ISL Cup winners have not had the best of starts to the season and the inconsistency continued in matchweek six, with a 1-1 draw against Odisha FC.
Odisha FC opened the scoring thanks to a defensive howler from the MCFC defence, but their attackers responded soon enough with a well-worked team goal coming from the right side.
Chhangte received the ball as he drove behind the line and put in an accurate low cross which was expertly finished off by Karelis, levelling the scoreline.

4: Mourtada Fall, Odisha FC
Odisha FC emerged victorious in their outing against East Bengal FC at the Kalinga Stadium, thanks to a 2-1 win.
After heading to half-time at 1-1, defender Mourtada Fall gave the Kalinga Warriors the match-winning goal from a set piece with a wonderful header, rising tallest amongst the crowded penalty area.
Fall did so well to guide that header towards the goal as he leaped running forward.

3: Parag Shrivas, Hyderabad FC
There is nothing more inspiring than watching a bunch of youngsters take the step up for their club and that is exactly what we all witnessed when Hyderabad FC routed Mohammedan SC 4-0 in an away game in Kolkata.
In particular, defender Parag Shrivas was in sublime touch in this match and scored a wonderful goal to make it 4-0 in the 51st minute of the match.
Receiving the ball in the middle of the Mohammedan half, Parag let one go from close to 25 yards and picked out the top corner.

2: Macarton Louis Nickson, NorthEast United FC
The match between NorthEast United and Jamshedpur FC was a goal-fest, with NorthEast running riot against Jamshedpur FC, winning 5-0.
The quality of goals scored in this game was world-class, and Macarton Louis Nickson finished the proceedings.
Scoring your first senior goal is always special, and for Macarton, it is extra special particularly because of how he scored the goal.
He received the ball near the box, turned and curled the ball into the top corner, making it 5-0 for NEUFC and completing a five-star team performance.

1: Alaeddin Ajaraie, NorthEast United FC
The goal of the week, without a shadow of a doubt, belongs to Alaeddin Ajaraie from NorthEast United.
This goal might just be one of the most fascinating goals of the season, given how spectacular the strike was. In the fifth minute of the match, Ajaraie took the ball from the byline on the left side, and after taking two touches, curled one from nowhere straight into the top corner, leaving Jamshedpur FC stunned.
It was a sight to behold, watching the ball curl from that angle into the back of the net. Truly world-class!
