East Bengal and Rajasthan United play out a nervy, yet exciting stalemate in the Durand Cup 2022.

Rajasthan United FC continue their unbeaten run in this year's Durand Cup as they draw 0-0 against a nascent East Bengal side. The Kolkata giants controlled most of the game and had 20 shots at the goal, but couldn't convert a single one of them.
Defensively, the Red and Gold side were solid and almost impenetrable. Chungnunga was a bright spark in the centr-back position, with wingers Aniket Jadhav and Tuhin Das providing the threat up front.
For Rajasthan United, chances came in periods, but they missed a 63rd minute penalty which could have turned the tide in the game. Barboza weak shot found Kamaljit's safe hands who had dives the right way.
It was the hero against ATK Mohun Bagan, Nikkum Gyamar, who almost scored the winner in the added time, just like against the Mariners. Currently, Rajasthan United are joint-top of their table with Mumbai City as East Bengal move ahead of their arch-rivals ATK Mohun Bagan.
