Taichung Blue Whale was the dominating side in the first half but they were heavily marked by the Indian defenders and did not give away any chance to score till the 40th minute,
But, one defensive mistake in the 41st minute broke the deadlock as the Indian side left Chen Jin-wen unmarked in their penalty box and she easily converted it into a goal.
After this, they tried to make a quick comeback and went all out in attack, leaving their defense behind, which was caught off-guard by Taichung and they doubled their lead on the counter-attack with the help of Maho Tanaka's goal.
