The Indian men's U17 team defeated Brunei 13-0 in their AFC U17 Asian Cup 2025 Qualifiers Group D clash on Wednesday at the Chonburi Stadium in Thailand.
It was a terrific start for Ishfaq Ahmed coached Indian team looking to become the fifth consecutive Indian team to qualify for the Asian U17 continental tournament.
India have previously qualified for the 2016 (as hosts), 2018 and 2020 AFC U16 Championship, and the 2023 AFC U17 Asian Cup.
With Wednesday's win, India went on top of the Group D with three points. India will next play Turkmenistan on October 25.
