Mumbai City FC suffered a 0-2 defeat at the hands of Nassaji Masandaran FC in today's AFC Champions League group stage match at Pune Balewadi Stadium.
Nassaji Masandaran took the lead in the 34th minute of the first half when Mohammad Hosseini Ehsan displayed composure with a cool finish. The score stood at 1-0 in Nassaji's favor at halftime.
In the 62nd minute, Nassaji extended their lead with a goal by Farshid Esmaeli. Mumbai had their chances, but their performance in the final third fell short of expectations.
