AFC Champions League 2: FC Goa go down to Al Zawraa – HIGHLIGHTS

A day after Mohun Bagan failed to impress, FC Goa kickstarted its AFC Cup campaign against Iraq’s Al Zawraa in the opening Group D league match at the Fatorda Stadium on Wednesday.

The Goan outfit got here courtesy their 2-1 defeated of Oman’s Al Seeb Club.

FC Goa is placed in a tough group that features Tajikistan’s FC Istiklol and Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr, who they will play in October.

Goa created a host of chances through the game, but were let down by ordinary finishing.
