FC Goa will be in action yet again in the Indian Super League (ISL) on Friday as they take on NorthEast United FC at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati. Both teams are unbeaten in the two matches they have played so far, and it promises to be an enthralling affair.

The Bridge caught up with die-hard FC Goa fan Conrad Barreto, a member of the Gaur Army, to discuss his team's performance so far and the NorthEast United match. Following are excerpts:

Q> The team has started well, a big win followed by a comeback draw in the dying mins against the defending champions..how are the fans feeling about the team’s chances this season? Can Fc goa go all the way and bring home the elusive title?

The stadium went berserk when Coro equalised. Not many times have we seen last-ditch equalisers or winners here. We've dominated most teams at home. About going all the way the feeling is the same as last season. We have full faith in the manager and the squad. The fans have always back Sergio and have totally enjoyed his philosophy.

Q> Coming to today’s match, your team takes on northeast who are unbeaten just like goa. What kind of challenge can be expected?

This could be a tricky, fixture. We do not have a great record against the Highlanders and especially in Guwahati. We have never won there under Sergio. The kicked a point off BFC away which is commendable too. But FC Goa are different prospect this season. Retaining the same team has helped players get to know each others game even better. We're ready for it. FC GOA's Official Supporter Club gaur Army has made the long trip to Guwahati to back the Gaurs. Such is the mood and Confidence.

Q> Who will be the danger men for Northeast that goa should look out for?

NorthEast have easily the biggest marquee signing in the league in Asamoah Gyan. I've watched him since his Ghanian National Team and Premier League days. His has them instincts of a predator in the box. Our wall Mourtada Fall will have to keep a close watch on his movements.

Q> What would be your line up today?

Nawaz (GK), Mandar Rao (C), Pena, Fall, Seriton, Jackichand, Lenny, Jahouh, Brandon, Corominas, Manvir.

Q> Realistic predictions for the match

NEUFC 1-2 FC Goa
