Considering their success of Skyesports Championship’s first edition, Skyesports are now launching their second edition Skyesports Championship 2.0. This event is an online-only esport tournament spanning over 2 months across 6 esport titles.

With the growing popularity of esports in India and considering the current situation, tournament organizers are moving to online events to facilitate competitive play and increase online viewership numbers as well.

Various Esport Titles

Skyesports Championship 2.0 will include 6 esport titles. Primarily focusing on the most popular esport titles in India. Riot’s new FPS Valorant will be one of the titles along with PUBG Mobile, Brawlstars, Clash of Clans, Rainbow Six Siege, and lastly a new entrant into the esports scene World Cricket Championship Rivals. This latest addition considering cricket’s popularity in India could skyrocket the game to the top of the charts.

Valorant Show Match

Skyesports Championship 2.0 will then conclude with a celebratory showdown which is aptly named ‘Valorant Sky Showdown’. This is where popular gamers and streamers across the gaming community will be invited to play in showcase match.

Regional Coverage

Skyesports are revolutionizing esports broadcasting with the championship being cast in 6 different languages; them being Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, and lastly English. This will particularly increase their coverage across India and rope in more viewership numbers.

Skyesports Championship 2.0 will be streamed on LOCO and its own channel Skyesports Youtube.

Skyesports Championship 2.0 has a prize pool of 11 lakhs making it a lucrative tournament for teams participating to win. They have also brought in ways to engage the audience with 2 Lakh worth vouchers available for them as well.
