Indian streaming platform Loco and Call of Duty publishers Activision Blizzard announced their partnership to host a Call of Mobile Tournament country, on Monday.

This tournament is expected to be the biggest ever Call of Duty Mobile Tournament in India, with a combined prize pool of INR.35 lakhs. The tournament will be hosted in two phases – first the Call of Duty Mobile India Open and then Call of Duty Mobile India Cup Pro and will be streamed exclusively on Loco.

How to register?

The registrations for Call of Duty Mobile India Open are already underway and you can register for the tournament by visiting the official site, www.codmindia.com

To register, you need to have a five player team all of whom must be in compliance of the rules of the tournament including the usernames and equipment used.

The registrations for Call of Duty Mobile India Open will be open only until 4th January 2021 or until a total of 2048 teams have officially registered.

Format and Prize Money

The matches will be played in 5vs5 open qualifier format in these game modes – frontline, team deathmatch, search and rescue, domination, hardpoint. The teams can also apply for substitutes during the tournament, provided they seek approval from the organisers.

The top 16 teams of Call of Duty Mobile India Open will qualify for the Call of Duty Mobile India Cup Pro. The Pro tournament will also have four invited professional teams including Team Mayhem and Team IND joining the tournament.

The total prize money for Call of Duty Mobile India Open is INR.10 lakhs. While, the winner will pocket INR.5 lakhs, the teams finishing second, third, and fourth will be awarded INR.2.5lakhs, INR.1.5 lakhs and INR.1 lakh respectively.

The winners of Call of Duty Mobile Cup Pro will clinch prize money of INR.10 lakhs. On the other hand teams finishing second, third and fourth will pocket INR.5 lakhs, INR.3 lakhs and INR.2 lakhs respectively.

The teams finishing at the fifth and sixth position will also be duly rewarded with INR.1 lakh, whereas the seventh and eighth-placed teams will receive INR. 50,000.

Besides the amount for winners, the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament stands a chance to pocket INR.1 lakh, while the player with the ‘Most Kills’ and ‘The play of the tournament’ will be awarded INR.50,000 each.
