Nike's powerful "You can't stop us" ad features Indian women's cricket team

Nike are renowned for powerful campaigns, but their latest project might just be their best yet.

The American sportswear giants have released the 'You Can't Stop Us' commercial which focuses on race, equality and even touches on the Black Lives Matter movement.

The incredibly compelling advert features some of the biggest sports stars on the planet including Colin Kaepernick, LeBron James, Serena Williams and Meghan Rapinoe. This special commercial is shot using a split-screen frame showing 36 pairings of athletes and the movement from one sport to another. Nike said it researched more than 4,000 pieces of footage resulting in the montage of clips they created. The apparel company said the montage highlights the shared commonalities of athletes around the world with 24 sports and 53 athletes featured.

In one of the montages in the ad, it also shows the Indian women's cricket team taking part in a huddle before a match.

Being the first white athlete outside the NFL to kneel during the American national anthem, Nike elected for U.S. football icon and rights advocate Rapinoe to narrate the clip - and she did a fantastic job.

During the ad, Rapinoe says: "We're never alone, and that is our strength.

"When we are held back we will go further.

"If we don't fit the sport, we will change the sport.

"When things aren't fair, we will come together for change."

The video ends with text saying "YOU CAN'T STOP SPORT" before "US" is written over sport. The ad debuts Thursday night during the NBA's tip-off of its restarted season at the Disney complex in Orlando, Florida.
