The IPL has gotten off to a fantastic start to the season and while there may not be the fans, and while it may not even be in the country, we can’t help but feel gripped once again.

After 10 games the tournament is still wide open with the Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers and Kolkata Knight Riders all still well in with a chance of winning. In fact, a good run could see anyone win outright.

But who are the favourites to win the IPL this season?

That’s the question many are asking as they start to look for betting offers and odds to start nailing their flag to the mast. It’s a busy time of the season for the bookmakers, and with that comes plenty for fans to enjoy.

It appears Gentingbet offers great bonuses to new players ahead of the IPL climax this year, while they are also favouring one team currently ahead of anyone to win the competition...

Mumbai Indians

The Mumbai Indians are firm favourites with most bookmakers currently, priced around 13/8 to win the IPL. They beat MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings by 10 wickets just days ago and looked incredibly comfortable in the process. Quinton de Kock has proved a real star for them this season, while Trent Boult has been devastating with the ball in hand.

They currently sit top of the IPL and are the current champions having won last season after beating the Super Kings in the Final.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

The Challengers are level on points with the Indians currently having won seven and lost three and are in a good run of form winning their last two, including an eight-wicket win over the Kolkata Knight Riders, as they kept their opponents down to just 84 runs off the 20 overs.

They’ve been impressive with the ball this season, with Chris Morris particularly effective and a real game changer. Virat Kohli of course always has something up his sleeve and at 11/4 they could be one of the teams to back from now until the end of the season.

Delhi Capitals

The Capitals have slipped up in more recent weeks, losing to Kings XI by five wickets as Nicholas Pooran and Chris Gayle really made them suffer. Still Shikhar Dhawan knocked a fine 106 not out, his second ton in successive games, and will be looking to take that form into the coming games.

Dhawan will be key to the success of the Capitals and if he can keep his season going at such a rate, they will certainly be worth a bet at 10/3 to go all the way. He’s hit 50+ in his last four outings and is the form man in the IPL with the bat.

Kings XI Punjab

Kings XI have got a bit of catching up to do in the league, but they’ve got the games to do it and have won their last three fixtures after a slow start, including a Super Over win over the Mumbai Indians on October 18.

All their games have been going down to the wire and they’ve beaten some big teams including the Indians, the Capitals and Royal Challengers in successive games.

If you’re looking for a dark horse to take the IPL home, then after 10 games Kings XI could be the team to back at 11/1. They have some phenomenal cricketers in their side, such as Pooran, Glenn Maxwell and Chris Gayle, while Mohammed Shami and Jimmy Neesham are also solid performers with the ball.
