Kashvee Gautam has become the first Indian cricketer, as per available records to take 10 wickets in one day format. The 16-year-old right-arm pacer achieved the feat in the BCCI Under-19 one day trophy against Arunachal Pradesh. To her credit the Chandigarh captain not only scalped all 10 wickets but also also took a hat-trick and scored 49 runs off 68 balls.

Before Gautam, former Indian Test captain and spin legend Anil Kumble was the other Indian to have achieved the feat but in Test cricket. Kumble had picked all 10 wickets in an innings of a Test while playing against Pakistan in 1999 at New Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium (erstwhile Feroz Shah Kotla).

Gautam, who considers Jhulan Goswami as her inspiration said that she has learned a lot by watching her bowl. She took 7-wickets before this in a match against Jammu and Kashmir as reported by Times of India. She aims to get 100 wickets in this event.

Chandigarh put up a score of 185 and won the match by dismissing the Arunachal team with 25 runs on the display and registered a thumping 161-run victory over the team.
