Women footballers Aditi Chauhan and Ashalata Devi are training together in Bengaluru amid the nation wide lockdown according to Sportstar.

“For now, we are focusing on basic overall fitness and thus following the same workout routine,” Aditi told Sportstar. “Initially, we would have two sessions: a core session of half-hour in the morning, followed by a strength and conditioning session of 1 to 1.5 hours in the evening, focusing on weight-training, strength and agility.

Aditi is also utilising this time to recover her minor ankle injury with the help of her trainer. Both had planned to train at Dipali’s Peak Performance sports rehab clinic only for a few weeks, they have been forced to extend their stay as the lockdown was pushed further until May 3.

The goalkeeper is also keeping herself busy with reading tennis ace Rafael Nadal’s autobiography Rafa: My Story. In addition to this, Aditi has taken up an online course.

“I am doing an online entrepreneurship course for my academy SheKicks FA,” she said. “I have studied Sports Management but I don’t have a business background. Since I have stepped into this industry, I want to acquire the right knowledge and skill set for running it.”

When the two are away from their training they binge watch TV shows on OTT platforms.
