These difficult times ask for help from the privileged to the needy. The daily wage earners are most affected due to the lockdown. They depend on per day income to feed themselves and their family. In such a situation, they are struggling to get one-time meal. In this time of crisis, Mithali Raj, Indian women ODI cricket team skipper, has stepped up and after she donated Rs 10 lakh, she distributed essentials to the migrant labourers.

The 37-year-old Mithali was seen distributing daily essentials and food packets to migrant labourers at Gachibowli in Hyderabad – videos and pictures of which went viral on social media.

A twitter user said,“I’m short of words to thank @team_sai & Smt. @M_Raj03 Ji for providing essentials to migrant workers from Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal, at Hyderabad today. It was surprising for both myself and @abhisgbjym that you guys reached out to the needy in such a short notice.

Raj had donated 10 lakhs on March 30 and not only her but her team mates Poonam Yadav, Nuzhat Parween and Richa Gosha have also donated for the cause.
