After a very successful outing that saw India add sixteen medals to its tally, including 10 in boxing, 5 in athletics and one in judo on Saturday at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow.
This pushed India into the top 4 in the medal tally behind Australia, England and Canada, having 39 medals - 13 gold, 17 silver and 9 bronze.
The country's athletes will now return for an exciting final day of the campaign, aiming to add a few more to its tally. There are three medal events each in track cycling and judo on Sunday.

Track Cycling: Men's 40Km Point Race Qualification: Dinesh Kumar finishes 10th; eliminated from final race
No Indian in the men's 40Km Point Race Final as Dinesh Kumar also bowed out of the qualification phase, finishing eleventh in heat 2.
He secured 4 points from the event but was knocked out as only nine athletes were to progress from this heat.

Judo, Men's +100Kg Round of 16: Yash Ghanghas loses 0-1 to Welsh Judoka; ends his campaign
No more medals for the Indian men's Judokas in Glasgow as Yash Ghanghas also bowed out in the round of 16.
He lost 0-1 to Joshua Whitehouse of Wales, who scored an early Yuko in the second minute and maintained his lead throughout to close out the bout.

Judo, Men's 100Kg Round of 16: Avtar Singh loses on Ippon; ends his campaign
Avtar Singh was looking good in the first few minutes but was not able to find any scoring move, and eventually the bout entered the extra time.
In extra time, Avtar tried to find another attacking throw but was countered by Aristos Michael of Cyprus, and the former fell on his back, resulting in an Ippon.

Judo, Women's 78Kg Round of 16: Ishroop Narang advances to quarters with a 1-0 win
Ishroop Narang has a late arm-side throw to score a Yuko in extra time to defeat Nicole Wood of Scotland 1-0.
She will now advance to the quarterfinals

Track Cycling: Men's 40Km Point Race Qualification: DNF for Harshveer Sekhon
Harshveer Sekhon in heat 1 was lapped twice very early in the qualification race of the Men's 40km Point Race, making it tough for him to recover and enter the top 10 qualifying spot.
He then decided not to continue the race and came down from the track, resulting in a DNF. This is his second DNF in two days, following the same result from the Scratch event on Saturday.
