That's a wrap for India at the 2026 Commonwealth Games

After an exciting 11-day extravaganza in Glasgow, Scotland, Indian athletes delivered a scintillating performance, winning 39 medals - 13 gold, 17 silver, and 9 bronze.

Indian athletics and boxing contingents delivered the most medals with 10 medals each, followed by 8 medals in weightlifting and six in para athletics.

Indian Judokas also had their best-ever medal tally with four medals (2 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze), and Jhandu Kumar bagged India's only medal in Para Powerlifting.

Now, the Indian contingent will depart from Glasgow with the Closing Ceremony at 1:30 AM post midnight today, where boxer Jaismine Lamboria will lead the contingent for India.

Para Cycling, Women's C4-C5 1000m Time Trial Final: Lisha Das clocks 1:34.410; finishes 6th

Lisha Das concludes India's journey in Glasgow, clocking 1:34.410s to finish in 6th place.

The 16-year-old made her Commonwealth Debut and will now, with this experience of competing against some of the world's best, hope to grow from this and rise above in her career going forward.

This is her second event in Glasgow after the Individual pursuit on the first day of the Cycling Programme.

Para Cycling, Women's C4-C5 1000m Time Trial Final: Lisha Das in action

The 16-year-old Lisha Das will be the final Indian competitor in action in Glasgow.

She will compete in the women's C4-C5 time trial final at 8:50 PM IST.

Judo, Women's 78Kg Bronze Medal Bout: Ishroop Narang loses 0-1; finishes 5th

Coralie Godbout starts the bout aggressively, putting the young Indian under pressure from the get-go. 

Ishroop held on to the early pressure but wasn't attacking much and was given her first passivity foul in the third minute.

The 19-year-old Indian continued her solid defensive display to force extra time in the bout, but also got her second passivity foul.

In the extra time, she looked more aggressive, but after holding Coralie for two minutes, she conceded a yuko and lost the bout.

Judo, Women's 78Kg Bronze Medal Bout: Ishroop Narang in action

India's last standing judoka, Ishroop Narang, will be in action in the women's 78kg bronze medal bout.

She will take on much more experienced two-time Pan-American medalist Coralie Godbout of Canada at 7:30 PM IST.

The 19-year-old Ishroop will have her biggest medal bout so far in her young career, hoping to end India's judo campaign in Glasgow with five medals.

Coralie will be extra motivated in the bout as she lost at the same stage in the 2022 Birmingham Games.

Judo, Women's 78Kg Repechage: Ishroop Narang advances to bronze medal bout; wins on a Waza-ari

Isroop was under pressure from the start as her Cameroonian opponent won the first two points of the bout with two Yukos after two side throws.

But the young Indian made an impressive comeback in the final minute to score a brilliant 90-degree throw on a counter to score Waza-ari.

Georgika Moune tried to make another big move, but Ishroop held on to her lead and won the bout. She will now fight for the bronze medal at 7:30 PM IST.

Track Cycling, Men's 1000m Time Trial: Ronaldo Singh clocks 1:04.191s; finishes outside podium places

Ronaldo Singh clocked 1:04.191s and is currently in 6th place among the starters so far. This means he will not have any medal chances, as only the best three timings will be on the podium.

There are 14 more riders yet to start.

Judo, Women's 78Kg Quarterfinal: Ishroop Narang loses on Ippon; will return for repechage

Ishroop Narang showed a good fight against former world medalist Emma Reid of England, but couldn't score anything.

Eventually, Emma scored Waza-ari, and while chasing this lead, Ishroop went full aggressive and was pinned in the final ten seconds and lost on Ippon.

She will, however, return for the repechage bout later in the day. 

Track Cycling: Men's 40Km Point Race Qualification: Dinesh Kumar finishes 10th; eliminated from final race

No Indian in the men's 40Km Point Race Final as Dinesh Kumar also bowed out of the qualification phase, finishing eleventh in heat 2.

He secured 4 points from the event but was knocked out as only nine athletes were to progress from this heat.
