A chance at history is once again at the hands of the Indian men's table tennis team as the Sharath Kamal, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, Harmeet Desai and Sanil Shetty-led team will fight for gold in the finals against Singapore.
Having already won the event in 2018 where they defeated Nigeria in the finals, the Indian men's table tennis team will take on Singapore in the finals, after having defeated Nigeria 3-0 in the quarters.

Deciding to go ahead with the veterans, India will have Sathiyan and Harmeet in the first doubles while Sharath Kamal and G. Sathiyan will play the singles. If needed, Harmeet Desai and Sharath Kamal will also step in to play the fourth and fifth singles.

The Indian men's team is in great shape currently and will be the favourites!
Although it has been four years since their gold win, the men's team is as sharp as ever to defend their title.
At the 2018 Games, the men's team had the same squad - Sharath Kamal, G. Sathiyan, Harmeet Desai and Sanil Shetty. Only Anthony Amalraj was the other person in the squad.
This year also boasts the same squad - so they have been in this situation previously. Only Manush Shah is the reserve player on the squad!
