With a well-fought silver from the Mixed Team badminton finals, the Indian badminton contingent will begin their quest for individual medals in singles and doubles categories.
Kicking off action today, PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth notched some very comfortable victories while it was an early shock for the Mixed Doubles pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and Sumeeth Reddy crashed out in the first round.
Later in the day, we will have Aakarshi Kashyap and Lakshya Sen in action.
