The prestigious Commonwealth Games are just a month away, with the 23rd edition set to take place in Glasgow, Scotland, from July 23 to August 2, 2026.

The 11-day event will feature 215 medal events across 10 sports, including Athletics and Swimming, with Para events integrated into six disciplines.

India is expected to send a contingent of 125–130 athletes, including Olympic medallists Neeraj Chopra, Mirabai Chanu, and Lovlina Borgohain.

Here is the complete schedule for the 2026 Commonwealth Games:

Basketball

This programme will have 4 medal events: 3x3 Basketball (Men & Women) and 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball (Men & Women).

The competitions will be held at the SEC Centre.

24 to 26 July - Group stage

27 to 28 July - Knockout Stage

Gymnastics

There will be 14 medal events in the Artistic Gymnastics Programme: Seven each in men's and women's events.

The competitions will take place at 'The Arena'.

24 July - Men's Team Finals

25 July - Women's Team Finals

26 July - Individual all-around Finals

27 to 28 July - Individual Finals

Athletics

Athletics will be the largest programme at the Games, featuring 59 medal events, 43 in Athletics and 16 in Para Athletics.

Competitions will be held at Scotstoun Stadium.

Lawn Bawls

There will be 7 medal events in the Lawn Bowls Programme: 4 Traditional Events and 3 Para events.

28 July to 2 Aug - Men's Pairs, Women's Singles, Para (Men's Pairs B6-8, Women's Pairs B6-8)

Boxing

There will be 14 medal events in Boxing: 7 weight classes each in men's and women's boxing.

The competitions will take place at the SEC Centre.

31 July - Semi-finals

1 August - Finals

Judo

There will be 14 medal events in Judo: 7 weight classes each in men's and women's categories.

The competitions will take place at the SEC Centre.

Netball

Netball will have its eighth appearance at the Commonwealth Games, featuring only 1 event, the women's team event.

The competition will take place at the OVO Hydro.

Weightlifting

Weightlifting will be split across two disciplines: Para Powerlifting (four events) at the Commonwealth Arena and Olympic Weightlifting (16 events) at the SEC Centre.

Swimming

Swimming will feature the second-highest number of medal events at the Games, with 56 medal events, 42 in Swimming and 14 in Para Swimming.

Competitions will take place at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre.
