Meanwhile, in the Masters category, World No. 2 Arjun Erigaisi triumphed over Amin Tabatabaei in a crucial top-of-the-table clash, to move into the sole lead at the top of the standings.

Pranav extends flawless run

In the Challengers category Pranav V displayed his brilliance once again, defeating Vaishali R in a well-played game.

The match was packed with tactical complexity with Pranav making a daring move early on sacrificing his queen to capture Vaishali's corresponding piece.

Despite the bold opening, the game remained finely poised with both players exchanging heavy blows across the board.

Pranav playing with black pieces managed to outmaneuver his opponent creating opportunities that forced Vaishali into a defensive position.

With his precise play Pranav emerged victorious continuing his perfect start to the tournament with four wins from four rounds.

This flawless streak has put him in a commanding position at the top of the Challengers standings with his nearest competitors struggling to close the gap.
