World Bridge Games: India Seniors in semifinals
India will now take on Sweden for a spot in the finals.
The India Seniors team breezed past Canada 168-84 to book a spot in the semifinals of the 16th World Bridge Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Indian team comprises of Vibhas Todi, Kamal Mukherjee, Pranab Bardhan, Badal Das, Arun Bapat and Ravi Goenka.
Girish Bijoor is the coach and non-playing captain.
From the outset, the India Seniors squad has been displaying strong form in the tournament.
They were solid in the round-robin stage and thereafter, in the round of 16, they outplayed Scotland 134-88.
India will now play Sweden in the semifinals.
Should India get past Sweden, they will play either USA or France in the finals.
