With the dynamic BWF World Championships now only a week away, badminton fans look set to witness some scintillating action and nerve-wracking encounters among the world's best-ranked shuttlers. The 25th edition of the Badminton World Championship will be held in Basel, Switzerland from 19th August till 25th August. https://www.facebook.com/bwfbadminton/videos/771992659911404/ Like last year's championships, this year around too, the Indian contingent will be led by Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth in the women's and men's singles respectively. Alongside Sindhu, in women's singles, fans will look out to ace shuttler Saina Nehwal's deliverance this season after her fleeting campaign at the recently concluded Thailand Open and H.S Prannoy, Sameer Verma and Sai Praneeth, alongside K Srikanth in the men's singles. The men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will be expected to bear fruit in men's doubles event after their sensational victory at Thailand Open.
