India's Gyaneshwari Yadav clinched the silver medal in the women's 53kg weightlifting event after a sensational final clean and jerk lift of 111kg.
The 22-year-old completed a perfect competition, clearing 82kg, 85kg and 88kg in the snatch before successfully lifting 103kg, 107kg and 111kg in the clean and jerk.
Her final lift took her total to 199kg (88kg + 111kg), setting a new personal best, a new Indian national record in the clean and jerk (111kg) and a new Indian national record total (199kg).
Nigeria's Onome Omolola Didih claimed the gold medal, while Gyaneshwari's silver became India's third silver medal of the Games.
With the result, India's medal tally now stands at five medals - one gold, three silver and one bronze.
