The Dutch have started strongly at the Paris Olympics with a convincing 5-3 victory over South Africa.
Leading 4-1 at halftime, Duco Telgenkamp extended the lead to 5-1 in the 33rd minute for the Netherlands, but South Africa quickly responded with a goal in the following minute to make it 5-2.
Mathew Brown scored via a penalty stroke to make it 5-3, but it was too late for the South Africans to close the gap.
