A clinical, clinical win for India as they ease past South Korea 3-0. The women in blue started off well, scoring twice in the first quarter and kept South Korea in check right from then. The goal from Sangita late in the third quarter just added salt to the wounds of the Koreans.
The Koreans did try their best to force themselves back into the contest and came close to scoring a couple of times in the second and third quarter, but they lacked creativity in their attacks and failed to break the Indian defence open. Once they trailed by 3 goals going into the final quarter, the final 15 minutes was all about going through the motions as India did not give anything away.
