Kamalpreet's discus throw could have landed her a bronze in Rio

Just a perspective: Kamalpreet Kaur, who took the national record in discus throw to 66.59 metres would have made her the bronze medallist at Rio Olympics. It is also the sixth best throw by anyone  in the world in the season 

In Rio 2016, the medallist was: 69.21 (Gold), 66.73(Silver), and 65.34(Bronze).

Kamalpreet looks like a finalist contender in Tokyo Olympics if she remains consistent.
