India started slowly and lacked that composure in the midfield to create chances. Once they were a goal down, India tried hard to push forward and it was mostly down to Manisha Kalyan to lead the lines. The second half was a lot better for the Indian Eves than the first as Dangmei Grace came in and injected more energy in the attack. Despite coming close, they failed to take the chances and that's where they paid the price. The Chileans turned up the heat in the last ten minutes and scored twice to hand India a 3-0 defeat in their second match of the Four Nation tournament in Manaus, Brazil.
