The 2021 Sudirman Cup has been rough for the Indian shuttlers. They are out of the reckoning for the quarterfinals, after falling to a 1-4 and 0-5 defeat to Thailand and China respectively.
The only bright spot for India so far has been the men's mixed doubles duo of Dhruv Kapila and Arjun MR, who won the country's only match against Thailand and pushed the Chinese pair to their absolute best.
Having already been shown the exit door, the Indian shuttlers will look to end their campaign on a high against hosts Finland, who are in a similar situation.
