U19 World Boxing C'ships: India win 17 medals, female boxers dazzle
India's 19-member boxing contingent wrapped up their campaign winning 17 medals, including four gold, eight silver and five bronze medals.
India won three gold and as many silver medals on the final day of the U19 World Boxing Championships, organised by World Boxing, in Colorado, USA, on Saturday.

In the female 65kg category, Parthavi Grewal trounced the Netherlands' Aaliyah Hoppema in the final to clinch the gold medal.
Vanshika Goswami emerged triumphant in the female 80+kg category against Germany's Victoria Gatt by Referee Stops Contest (RSC) one minute and 37 minutes into the contest.
Meanwhile, Hemant Sangwan became India's only gold medallist in the men's segment. Hemant defeated the USA's Rishon Sims 4-1 in the male 90kg category final to emerge champion. Rahul Kundu (75kg), on the other hand, became the lone male silver medallist at the Championships.
On Saturday, six Indian boxers were in contention for the gold medals.
However, Nisha, Supriya Devi Thokchom and Kritika Wasan had to settle for the silver medals.
In the female 51kg category final, Nisha suffered a 0-4 defeat to Alice Pumphrey of England, while Supriya went down to Caitlyn Wise of England 0-5 in the female 54kg category final.
In the female 80kg gold medal match, Kritika Wasan lost to Stella Blazkova of Czech Republic 0-3.
Indian female boxers put up an impressive show throughout the tournament as all ten female boxers reached the final. While three won the gold medals, the remaining seven settled for the silver medals.
In the men's segment, India won seven medals, including a gold and silver medal and five bronze medals.
