Indian Super League (ISL) outfit Bengaluru FC along with two other clubs have been suspended from the All India Football Federation's (AIFF) age-group tournaments for fielding over-aged players. The AIFF Disciplinary Committee took the decision in a meeting at Dwarka House on Wednesday. Apart from Bengaluru FC, another Bengaluru-based I-League second division team, Ozone FC, and Jammu United FC have also been suspended. While defending Federation Cup champions Bengaluru FC was found guilty of tweaking with age in the U-13 Youth League, Ozone FC and Jammu United were found guilty in the U-15 Youth League. The AIFF's probe found that one player from the Bengaluru FC U-13 team was over-aged while Ozone FC U-15 team also had a player who was over-aged. Jammu United U-15 side had two players who did not satisfy the eligibility criteria.

The AIFF Disciplinary Committee has decided to ban the players in from participating in any AIFF-conducted tournament for 12 months, while the clubs have been disqualified from the tournaments, respectively.
