The Indian Basketball team went into the game against Kazakhstan in the FIBA Asian Cup Qualifiers 2025 looking for redemption.
After suffering a defeat against Qatar in the first home game, they needed a victory as they were at the bottom of the table after losing all three matches in Group E.
Kazakhstan, meanwhile, went into the game in second place on the points table with one defeat and two wins.
India, however, came out supremely confident and right from the outset, they looked a transformed unit.
The hosts dominated the Kazakhs right through the game and scored their first victory over the opposition in stellar fashion.
