Remember the 2016 BWF World Championships final? The game saw one of the most historic rallies and the participants in it were none other than PV Sindhu and Nozomi Okuhara who battled it out on court in a 110-minute long duel. The entire game was a superb show of resilience and stamina at the end of which, PV Sindhu blinked first to end up with the silver. It was still the initial stages of a fantastic rivalry in the making. Today, the two will face each other in the women's singles finals of the BWF World Tour Championships. Although Sindhu had cited a hectic season as the reason for pulling out of the Syed Modi International, she has held her own in this tournament and she beat Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand 21-16, 25-23 in the semifinals in a 54-minute match to reach the title round. Okuhara, on the other hand, beat her compatriot Japanese Akane yamaguchi 21-17, 21-14 to reach the finals at the end of yet another amazing tournament she had. Here's how the two fare:
