Welcome to the live blog of The Bridge from the quarterfinals of the Thomas and Uber Cup Finals 2022 being held at the Impact Arena, Thailand.
It was curtain call for the Indian women's team led by PV Sindhu as they lost 0-3 to Thailand earlier today and exited the Uber Cup.
In the men's half, the Indian men's team created history with HS Prannoy, Kidambi Srikanth, and Satwik-Chirag leading the team to their first semi-final in 43 years and confirmed the first medal for India at the Thomas Cup!

What a showdown was this but Lakshya Sen loses a hard-fought encounter...
Lee Zii Jia got the revenge he wanted as he humbles Lakshya Sen, especially in Game 2, to win the match 23-21, 21-9 in 46 minutes.
Sen was brilliant in Game 1 and even had Game Point opportunities but it was a Zii Jia show in Game 2.
Malaysia leads 1-0 in this tie.
