Lakshya Sen went down to Viktor Axelsen but Satwik-Chirag managed a nervous three-set win against Kim Astrup and Mathias Christiansen to level the tie at 1-1. Kidambi Srikanth also followed it up with a fantastic win against Anders Antonsen. However, the pair of Krishna and Vishnu lost and finally HS Prannoy stepped up once more to create history for India and took the team to their maiden Thomas Cup final!
