Welcome to the live blog of The Bridge from the semi-finals of the Thomas Cup 2022, being held at the Impact Arena, Bangkok, Thailand!
Lakshya Sen went down to Viktor Axelsen but Satwik-Chirag managed a nervous three-set win against Kim Astrup and Mathias Christiansen to level the tie at 1-1. Kidambi Srikanth also followed it up with a fantastic win against Anders Antonsen. However, the pair of Krishna and Vishnu lost and finally HS Prannoy stepped up once more to create history for India and took the team to their maiden Thomas Cup final!

Did you know? Lakshya Sen has trained with Viktor Axelsen earlier!
In 2021, Lakshya went over to Dubai where Viktor lives and has trained with him and the likes of Loh Kean Yew and ever since that, Lakshya Sen has been a changed man, learning from the very bests in the business.

Ready or not, the action is all set to start in just under 10 minutes as we prepare ourselves for the first sensational clash of the day.
It is Lakshya Sen vs Viktor Axelsen, of course, as the duo are set to meet after the All England finals.
Sen was quite heartbroken after he lost to Viktor at All England and today, Lakshya will look to pick up his form and repeat his victory against Viktor - a feat he achieved during the German Open.

India will be on the lookout for revenge against Denmark today!
Interestingly, India lost to Denmark in the Thomas Cup quarter-finals in the previous edition of the World Team Championships and today with a final luring ahead of them and the gold medals calling out to them - India will be hungry for revenge and this team is already in red-hot form to take on Viktor Axelsen and Co.!
