The Indian men's badminton team, the defending champions, registered their second successive win at the Thomas Cup in Chengdu, China on Monday.
In their second Group C clash, India beat England 5-0 after they defeated Thailand 4-1 in their opening group clash.
With these two comprehensive wins, India reached the quarterfinals.
