Thailand Open 2026: Satwik-Chirag reach semis

India’s leading men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty continued to display their superior form to advance to the semifinals of the Thailand Open Super500 Tournament on Friday.
Top seeds beat Japanese sixth seeds Takumi Nomura and Yuichi Shimogami in straight sets 21-12, 21-13 in 41 minutes.
The World Tour Finals 2025 bronze medal-winning pair are eyeing their third Thailand Open title, having previously won in 2019 and 2024.
Two-time Olympic bronze medallist PV Sindhu and World Championship bronze medalist Lakshya Sen will be in action later in the day.
