Game 3: Sindhu gets off the mark

Zhiyi's toss goes long and Sindhu gets off the mark in the deciding third game.

Sindhu wins the second game 21-11. She charges from the net; Zhiyi has no chance. Sindhu forces the decider.

Aggressive play by Sindhu. She is brilliant at the net and wins a point to reach a game-point chance at 20-11.

Game 2: Zhiyi trails 11-18

Sindhu loses a point by letting Zhiyi's toss fall in. Zhiyi trails 10-17.

Sindhu wins a point to make it 18-10. Zhiyi follows it up with a point to make it 11-18.

Game 2: Zhiyi goes long

Sindhu leads the second game 16-8. 

She extends the lead to 17-8 with a  jump smash. 

Game 2: Sindhu leads 15-8

Sindhu plays a drop shot and wins a point to lead 15-8.

Game 2: Sindhu extends her lead

Sindhu's smash lands in and Zhiyi loses a point by letting the shuttle fall in. 

Sindhu extends her lead to 13-6 and then to 14-6, winning a net battle. 

Game 2: Two points in a row for Zhiyi

Zhiyi wins two points on the trot to reduce Sindhu's lead to 12-6.

Game 2: Sindhu resumes with a point

Another brilliant placement by Sindhu. Zhiyi moves to the other side of the court and Sindhu finishes it off with a crosscourt winner. Sindhu leads 12-5. 

Game 2: Sindhu takes the lead at the interval

Sindhu wins a point to lead 11-4 at the interval. Seven-point lead for Sindhu in the second game.
