The Indian men's doubles pairing of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty defeated Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto of Indonesia in straight games to advance to the quarterfinals of the Paris Olympics 2023 as the Group C toppers.
However, it was the end of the road for the women's doubles duo of Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa as they succumbed to their third straight defeat at the Games.
