Malaysia Masters: Sindhu, Ashmita into quarters; Treesa-Gayatri exits - Highlights

On the third day of the Malaysia Masters Super 500, star shuttler PV Sindhu were in action for her second round match against Sim Yu Jin of South Korea on Thursday.
On the other hand, Ashmita Chaliha and Kiran George played out their respective round of 16 matches. In women doubles, Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand exited after losing against Chinese Taipei paring of Sung and Yu.

Game 3: Chaliha 21-12 Zhang, Chaliha advances into the quarters after a great match!
Ashmita Chaliha knew when to press the gas pedal against Zhang. The match ended in an anti-climatic manner with Chaliha blowing her opponent out of the water, in complete contrast to what happened in the first two games. Chaliha will now await her opponent in the round of 16 whilst Zhang bows out of the Malaysian Masters.
