On Day 2 of Malaysia Masters 2022, Praneeth, Sindhu, Prannoy and Parupalli Kashyap won their matches.

The second day of the Malaysia Masters 2022 saw Sai Praneeth notching a spectacular win over Tokyo semi-finalist Kevin Cordon, 21-8, 21-9.
PV Sindhu had to play a thriller against China's He Bing Jiao before she could win, 21-13, 17-21, 21-15.
Parupalli Kashyap also stepped in all guns blazing against Indonesia's Tommy Sugiarto and won, 16-21, 21-16, 21-16.
HS Prannoy also recorded a fine victory over Frenchman Brice Leverdez, 21-19, 21-14.
Meanwhile, Sameer Verma lost to fourth-seeded Chou Tien Chen ( 10-21, 21-12, 21-14), Saina Nehwal lost to Kim Ga Eun (16-21, 21-17, 21-14) and the duo of Ashwini Ponnappa and N Sikki Reddy also suffered a defeat to an Indonesian pair (21-19, 18-21, 21-16) to exit in the first round.

PV Sindhu, who just celebrated her birthday yesterday will have a tough challenge on her plate as she will have to go up against He Bing Jiao, her opponent from the Tokyo bronze medal match.
Of late, Sindhu suffered a first-round loss to Bing Jiao at the Indonesia Open 2022.

Tough luck for Sameer Verma as he played a great match today but it is Chou Tien Chen who recorded his third victory over Verma, 21-10, 12-21, 14-21 to move into the next round.
