Indian shuttlers to undergo five-day training camp ahead of Asia Mixed Team C'ships
The training camp will be held in Guwahati from Tuesday.

The 14-member Indian team, which will represent the country at the 2025 Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships later this month, will undergo a five-day preparatory camp at the National Centre of Excellence in Guwahati, Assam.
The five-day camp will commence from Tuesday with the likes of double Olympic medallist PV Sindhu, men's singles star Lakshya Sen, HS Prannoy and the men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty all expected to feature.
“The NCE has been focusing on grooming the upcoming juniors since its inception and hosting a senior team camp here will also allow the juniors an opportunity to learn from the country’s finest while also providing India’s top talents to train together and create an ideal environment of team bonding ahead of this big team event,” said Sanjay Mishra, secretary general of Badminton Association of India.
The 2025 Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships is slated to be held next week, starting on 11 February, 2025 in Qingdao, China.
The Indian team is expected to depart for the continental competition late on Sunday night.
India had bagged a bronze medal in the last edition of the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships back in 2023.
