Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is leaving no stone unturned to perfect her reflexes and her badminton nuances as she readies up to portray ace badminton star Saina Nehwal in her biopic. After Shraddha Kapoor could not commit to the film due to date issues and the long hours that would be needed at the courts, Chopra stepped in, and if her social media posts are to go by, the young actress has been going all out to do justice to her role.

Besides training at a badminton court in Thane, Parineeti has also decided to spend some time with Nehwal and her family so she can get a first-hand view of the routine the athlete follows. “I want to become Saina. For that, I want to go to her house and see how she lives. We have met many times, but this time I want to go to her house, live like her and eat like her for a day. She has promised me that her mom will feed me the exact food that Nehwal eats. So I am excited to go to her house and live her life for one whole day," Chopra says.

The actress is also excited about the challenging role and told Gagbrag:

I’ve put all my energies prepping for this role, something I’ve never done for the 10-12 films that I’ve worked in previously and in the process I have finally discovered the person I am and the actor. I’m really excited to start 'Saina'. I think it will be a life-changing experience.

The movie, being helmed by Amole Gupta, has planned a flexible schedule for the actress, so she can practice in between shoots in order to show that she is playing badminton convincingly on screen.

Earlier, Nehwal had wished Chopra for the movie, saying, "Looking forward to this journey together! My best wishes to the team."
