Star shuttler HS Prannoy has remained India's highest ranked men's singles player at ninth, while Lakshya Sen has moved up a place to be ranked 11th in the latest BWF World Rankings released on Tuesday.

Lakshya had made a semifinal finish after losing to Indonesia's Jonatan Christie, while Prannoy lost to Viktor Axelsen in the quarterfinal at last week's Japan Open Super 750.

National champion Mithun Manjunath moved four places to the 50th position, the highest mover for the week among Indians across all disciplines within the top 100.

Indian women’s doubles pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri and Gayatri Gopichand also improved two spots to be ranked 17th.

Double Olympic medallist PV Sindhu remained static at the 17th spot, while Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty maintained their second spot in the latest chart.
