BWF World Championships 2026 Highlights: India had a mixed Day 4, with Treesa Jolly/Gayatri Gopichand advancing with a win over Japan’s seventh seeds and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty pulling off a hardfought match to reach the quarterfinals.

India's campaign in men's, women's singles and mixed doubles ended as Dhruv Kapila/Tanisha Crasto, Ayush Shetty, P.V. Sindhu bowed out after hard-fought contests.

    Another long rally, but once again it ends with an error from the Indian pair. Dhruv and Tanisha are struggling to handle the pressure as the Chinese duo continue to keep them on the back foot.

    Mixed Doubles: Chinese players on the go

    The second game is a must-win for Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto if they want to stay in the contest.

    It was evenly poised at 2-all, but the Chinese pair have now managed to open up a four-point lead. The Indians need to close the gap quickly.

    Mixed Doubles: The Chinese take opening game

    The opening game goes in favour of the Chinese pair, but Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto showed plenty of fight.

    The Indians won five points in a row to make a strong comeback and even saved one game point. But with their opponents having five game-point opportunities, the Chinese pair eventually closed it out.

    Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto trail 6-12, with the opening game moving very very quickly. But the Indian pair are refusing to let it slip away entirely. They are fighting.

    They are up against a higher-ranked Chinese duo, and will need to find a way back into the game.
