BWF World C'ships Day 3: Sen suffers shock exit; Sindhu, Ayush through - Highlights

2026 BWF World Championships Highlights: The third day at the 2026 BWF World Championships in New Delhi was another mixed results for the Indian shuttlers.
Lakshya Sen was ousted by Garret Tan, a relatively unknown shuttler, 19-21, 21-19, 17-21 in 73 minutes. Unnati Hooda also lost a close match to Canada's Michelle Li 21-11, 9-21, 21-23.
Meanwhile, it was a smooth sail for Ayush Shetty and mixed doubles pair Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto. PV Sindhu was also stretched a bit, but managed to wrap in straight sets. She will now face world no 3 Wang Zhiyi.
The men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty got a walkover as Scotland's Alexander Dunn/Adam Pringle pulled out due to injury.
